MULLEIN LEAF - $3.25/oz. (organic)
Actions: expectorant, demulcent, mild diuretic, sedative, heals wounds, astringent, anti- inflammatory. Used mainly for respiratory disorders, the leaves were at one time made into herbal “tobacco” & smoked for asthma & tuberculosis. Traditionally, the plant was regarded as antiseptic & the large leaves produced in the second season were wrapped around fruits to preserve them.
